Many of them do, but they choose to write notes, letters, cards, etc. to people for the most part. I love having ...It is fun to see the writing grow! I love having the notebooks because during this time of year, I can just flip back to the beginning of the book and see how much they have grown in the writing and handwriting. <br /><br />That is a good idea of having a seperate time for the writing. So, do you let them choose to write during Daily 5 or is that one of their normal rotations? I knew...I'm so glad you're loving Daily 5. I knew you would! Isn't it great to see their writing grow? Thanks for sharing the great things you're seeing. (I've chosen to modify things by having a writing workshop time separate from Daily 5.
