I believe that people who survive terrible atrocities or even a bad childhood, do so because they maintain hope that things will be different if they persevere. Teaching requires a lot of hope. If teachers...Yay for choosing a positive attitude! If teachers must be one thing, they must be flexible. Being flexible with all the schedule changes and interruptions and pressures can be hard. Why is it I expect my kids to be a...Argh, attitude. Why is it I expect my kids to be able to snap out of a yucky attitude, when I don't want to do the same? I keep a pretty positive attitude with my kids, but it's so easy to let it go downhill with other adults - especially when it's paired with a co-teacher who feels the same way - watch out!
